(2007-07-20) - Last week Ringo had x-rays of his right rear leg, to see how it's healing. We are now 8 weeks past his TPLO surgery.

Results were good! Now we are cleared to gradually increase his activity over the next 3 months. By Halloween he can return to the dog park.

 We are happy campers. We fretted over whether or not to do surgery--which procedure to choose. The aggressive TPLO seems to have been a good choice. We're remembering our first dog Manute's recovery, and we think Ringo's repaired leg is already stronger than Manute's ever was post-surgery.
